Description
NAUTS x DAMTOYS cooperated to launch the 1/6 scale collectible doll Jieyun set for Capcom’s popular game “Monster Hunter”.
The design of this product is inspired by the Jieyun set in the popular work “Monster Hunter Portable 3rd” released in 2010. This is the first set of equipment obtained in the game and has an incomparable position in the minds of players.
The team worked closely with Capcom and spent more than two years to carefully develop it, striving to present the most sincere and refined products. This doll uses DAMTOYS’s self-developed highly movable body, equipped with more than 30 movable joints, showing excellent mobility. The head sculpt is the original character image of the game that was discussed and negotiated with Capcom. We have also upgraded the head sculpt and will use an independently movable eyeball system in the product, hoping to provide a higher level of expressiveness for the product.
In terms of the set, the team used a variety of simulation materials and processes to present the blurred 3D shape of 2010 to players with ultra-high precision.
The weapon is the beloved “Kume no Tachi”, which can be smoothly drawn out of the scabbard and the handle can be extended just like in the game!
